Our story
It all began a few years ago, as when founder Bec who has suffered eczema all her life was experiencing a particularly severe flare up, and was struggling to sleep comfortably at night.
She noticed that the clothing she was wearing often aggravated her already inflamed skin, and started to pay more attention to the fabric of her clothing.
Clothes she had previously purchased when her skin was normal thinking they were fairly comfortable, suddenly felt prickly and unbearable against angry eczema-inflamed skin.
Rummaging through her warbrode, desperate to find something comfortable to wear, she struggled as she realised that most of her clothes were made out (either in some part of completely) of synthetic fibres, such as acrylic, polyester and nylon.

There’s a reason why a lot of clothes are made of our synthetic fibres. Synthetic fibres are often cheap, versatile and durable and thus make a good choice for most clothing brands. Unfortunately, synthetic fibres aren’t good news for eczema sufferers. More often than not, toxic chemicals are used, they are highly polluting and are known to release microplastics.
They are not good for the environment, and certainly not good for an eczema sufferer. As an eczema suffer, you need to be extra vigilant about what you are putting in constant contact with your skin. We focus a lot of creams and topical treatment for our itchy skin, but we often forget the important of the type of clothing we’re wearing and what impact that is having on your eczema.
The idea of creating the most comfortable cotton clothing for itchy skin was formed that night by Bec and her husband when it became clear high-quality sustainable clothing was particularly important for people like Bec, who suffered from eczema.
Paying attention to what clothes you’re wearing is crucial when you suffer from eczema, and can really make a world of difference.
Our vision is to provide the much-needed relief from itchy skin to eczema sufferers and people with sensitive skin, by creating the most comfortable, soothing, skin-loving clothing and bedding.
